You've got the blues. It's OK, we all get the post-Christmas blues. All that anticipation, all those presents, that extra pour of eggnog --and now what? Now the thrill is gone, and you're spending your days trying to stick to a New Year's resolution, or you're just trying to survive the polar vortex.
If you're coming to this blog for suggestions on how to beat these blues, you've come to the wrong place. We're struggling just as hard as you are. So instead of fighting it, we've decided to give in and just be blue.
Yup, it's time for the "Post-Christmas Blues" playlist. At first we were like, "let's just put old-school bluesmen on the playlist, for that really authentic blues feel." After making the list, though, we realized that we had ended up with some stuff that was more "blues rock" than straight blues, but then we were like, "Whatever, man."
So I'm not saying this is going to make you feel better, but if you're gonna be blue, you could do worse than these tunes.
